Stanko Gradev was born on 29th of October 1987 in Varna, Bulgaria. At the age of nine he started to play flute, mainly classical music. Inspired by Candy Dulfer he switched to alto-saxophone at the age of 16. During the last five years he played in miscellaneous projects, predominantly Funk, Fusion and Smooth-Jazz. With his music and play Stanko geared to international stars like Everette Harp, Andy Snitzer, Kirk Whalum and Kenny Garrett, just to name some. "The Pilots" is Stanko's latest project, where he plays the Tenor, Alt and Soprane Saxophone.
